I'm in the DC area and my provider has gone dry!! ACK!!!

What do you all do when that happens? We've had the shittiest luck finding people since we moved out here a few months ago. =-(

It's already been a week...which...when we're in the midst of a hectic political season feels more like a month to me. =-)

The problem is that there doesn't appear to be any light at the end of the tunnel for him...and this has been happening often to him lately. I fear we may have to go elsewhere.

... go to a skate park and ask a kid that looks the part where he buys his bud from. if you feel weird talking to a little kid, pay another little kid to do it for you.

it's all about who you know, after all.

Yeah dude I seriously hate that. I hope I will never have to go through that again. When I have though, it's terrifying.

Like, you could easily go find some if you really wanted to put fourth the effort to go ask people, but it's not really worth the risk/hassle. Then on the other hand, it is. haha

I just hate that predicament all togeather.

If you could e-mail bud, I would e-mail you some of my chronic just to get you hiiii.

Only because no one wants to drop $50 a week on an 8th of dank. I REALLY would love for the prices to just go down all together.

Srsly, no ones getting rich off of selling weed. I mean, not many people. The price could easily be cut into half and growers would still make bank and it would just be an added bonus for the rest of us because we could buy more, and support them more. Does this not make sense to anyone else?

I udnerstand growers are taking a risk to provide for others, but srsly don't you think $320 for an oz of chronic is a little outrageous when it could easily be $70-175 an oz and still laugh all the way to the bank.

Its true. Grow a seed, end the greed, smoke some weed.

I think DC has hit an official drought. I've touched base with every 420 fan I know and everyone is out and their providers are dry or out of the country (is there a provider conference happening?).

We even went around some of the more popular selling areas of DC hoping to stumble across an offer...but alas...no luck.

The big bummer is that we're celebrating a birthday today and still in our drought.

Seriously...Congress needs to get off their ass and decriminalize this shit before we go insane.

I don't either.

So what do yalls think with prices going up going to do to weeds?

Do you think people will lower drug prices? I mean, no one will be buying weed over living necessities once it gets to that point.

How is that going to work?

Wish I knew what to tell you but droughts suck. We had one last week as a result of a massive bust of a growing operation but apparently things are back on track because I got a fat quarter for my normal price and on top of the bonus weight, it was some dank shit.

Anyway, from my experience, there's no answer to a real drought. If you can't get any weed and none of your smoking buddies can either (assuming you guys have different dealers), you're just going to have to play the waiting game. You can try approaching shady characters that look like they might sling but given my personality it doesn't work very well. I have a wide variety of friends with different dealers, so if I can't get it from the guy in the boonies I'm just going to go see the kid on the corner instead.

i live in a small town in north carolina we are definitely experiencing a drought, the neighboring towns as well. the prices are steeper and its really hard to find anything.

i was thinking it might be a reflection of the economic crisis occurring on a national level, anyone else agree?

Some of it might have to do with the failing economy but a lot of the problem in my area, aside from the bust, was the fact that for a few weeks the region was almost completely without gas. Unless you went to some hole in the wall station in the boonies you couldn't get a drop, so I'm sure it made the task of getting the product to us pretty difficult to say the least.

It's been drought up north for a lot longer for commercial. It's election season man, they gotta "clean" up the cities. This is the worst time for weed every four years(and pretty bad for the other three). It'll be fine once someone gets in office.

Spanky I agree with you but the commercial weed goes through so many peoples hands and they all have to do a little step then a little tax so everyone get's their end. When it comes to dank/nicely grown weed its only really held higher in value because of how different it is from mids/mersh/regs. Also if a grower is risking his nads and taking care of 50+ plants he should be getting paid atleast half of the jail time.
