Possession of Bud and Glass pipe

So this weekend i was blazin in my car when these two po's rolled up on my ride and busted me and 2 buddies of mine. They both goth charged with being in the presence of marijuana but since it was my car i was charged wiith
-Possession of Marijuana less than 42 g
-Possession of a glass pipe (bubbler)

This is my first ticket ever besides speeding. Most of my buddies say that i will prob just get a fine and a slap on the wrist. This true?

As long as you can present yourself in court as a good kid who's got his head on straight (have a job, do well in school, involved in extracurricular activities, etc.) you should be fine. Maybe some community service, maybe a small fine. Keep your head down and stay out of the law's line of sight for a few years and they'll likely expunge your record if you're a minor.

Act sorry for what you did, apologize for the inconvenience to the officers and the court for taking up their time, and be a good sport about whatever it is they give you. Don't make yourself a target that the law will be gunning for by acting a fool when you're in the Man's house.

I am 16 and got charged with possession of a pipe as well. Went to court and had 2 choices.

A) 30 hours of community service + substance abuse class (THC level test + all other drugs scanned 1st day). Expunged from record as soon as hours and class are completed.


B) 15 hours of CS and a misdemeanor charge. Due to new laws in Illinois any drug related ticket cannot be expunged and will be on your record PERMINATLEY

I choose option A because when im applying for college I dont want that shit on my record + jobs look at it. If I were you I would go with A. I havent taken the class yet but my friend has. Im staying clean for 3 weeks so i come up clean on my test. No fine if you were wonder. Best of luck

i live in arizona and was charged with the same stuff, im over 18.
anyways im on tasc (it's like probation but run by a private company).
i have to submit pee test once a week (when my color is called) and be clean for 90 days, no alchol either for all people even over 21.
it cost 750 dollars (i was booked and spent a night in jail, otherwise it is 650 dollars) and also spend 14 dollars per test.
after i complete tasc my 2 FELONIES get expunged.
arizona is a bad state to be in for pot heads, sheriff joe is a racist and is supported by county attorney andrew thomas. vote these fucktards out of office come november!!

but fuck its better than the dui i could have been charged with.
