Places/thing to check out in Vancouver, BC

I'm going to Vancouver for a conference this week! I'll be busy from tues-fri with the show, but on saturday I'll be looking to explore the city! Anyone live in this area? I'd love to see a yahookan or get some ideas on places to check out and enjoy!

amsterdam cafe is a must checkout its on hastings downtown, its a cafe u can blaze inside,

and commercial drive is an awesome strip with lotsa hippies ull love the place

vancouver aquarium is awesome lotsa cool animals and u can sneak in thru the giftshop

and stanley park is pretty neat too

if u like drinking on granville island theres a brewery where u can brew ur on beer then buy it
