ive been smoking for a few years, but never really cared about strains and what not, but i just bought an 1/8 and this shit is amazing. one bowl between three people and we were all baked for hours. anyway, this weed has orange all over it. is that a sign that it's good? my buddy got it from his cousin in California, i don't know if that makes a difference.

the hairs dont have thc but high grade usually has more hairs. it depends on the strain, some have white hairs, some dont have any. the potency is probably just because its from someone in cali whos got some experience growing.

good to have some of the cali dank tho
its a blessing and a curse living in cali tho, im kinda snobby when it comes to what i smoke because ive tasted alot of dank buds.

The THC is on the trichomes, although the trichs on the hairs are smaller than in some other places there are loads of them as you can see.
