the other day i bought some herb and it was pretty shitty but by the time i realized it i had already bought it..

i was pretty pissed.

Well, if you bought it and it wasn't short then he didnt rip you off lol.

CHeck the quality before you complete the deal. Look for sparkling crystals in the bright sun, smell, color *light light or dark green*, hairs, ect.

use your eyes, nose, hands (weigh the bag), and if your dealer is cool enough, maybe ask to take a toke before purchase. i used to have a dealer let me do that. he actually would roll a j out of his own stash and smoke with me before i bought. but dude always had the good-good, so it was never a problem.

also, sometimes you gotta ask for the good shit. some dealers still sell both brown-frown and dank. it also helps to make good connecs, and keep em. dont just buy from any douche on the corner or from a friends friends brothers cousin who occasionally sells weed. best bet again is to develop a solid connec.

"Being Shorted" - to purchase one amount and receive a lesser amount.
example:
Short = .7
On point = 1g

Dealers in my town do this shit EVERY TIME if they don't no you or don't like you. As someone said, best bet is to find a connection with good weed and stick with him. I buy from the same guy every time for 9 months now. Before him I was with a guy for 6 months (he disappeared

As for color, Depends on the type of weed.... But in general Brown is bad. Light green or dark green are usually the dankest, inbetween can be good to though. Hairs are pretty important. Vibrant colors basically.

Look for sparkles as I said earlier, this is what actually gets you high. That is your best bet for potency. Break a open and look around on the inside. If you put it in the light and it sparkles then you got some good nug! If you only see a few / none chances are its bad.

you should be able to tell the difference between stress weed and bomb weed; stress goes $5 for about 2.5 grams and bomb goes $20 for about 1 gram. If you pay $20 for a gram of stress weed, you got ripped out the ass. See, smell and feel before you buy.

stress weed (or schwag) usually comes compressed, in bricks, can be any color from light ass green to dark brown, usually the lighter green is the best schwag. Always has seeds and stems.

bomb, is everything else you see on the net, generally no seeds because the growers want them or dont let the females lose their virginity, almost never compressed and is sticky, covered in thc and smells powerful.

You will also see mid grade, it looks like bomb, but less thc crystals, so less sticky, smells good, usually has seeds, better bang for your buck if you smoke stress. The name pretty much tells it all.

Idk if you already knew all that or how long youve been smoking, but its still useful info

its never that easy. I've had to track asshole's down and come to their house and shit to get what was mine.
I've never had a dealer just admit that he was wrong and fix the issue.

be sure to touch the weed before you buy. if the dealer says no, then dont buy it. dont get anything that smells like wood, or doesnt have a strong scent. you want some stinky stanky. like HesStoned said, eventually it becomes a sixth sense

its easy to determine the quality of weed if you dont have cataracts - sticky, green, no seeds, visible crystals = good weed.

whether or not you are getting shorted on dubs is impossible to know. prices vary drastically around the world.

buy a scale and weigh the next 1/8 u buy. If it's 3.5 grams, you are not being shorted. But without a picture of the buds, only u can determine if the quality matches the price.
