Boil her in water on the stove, it stinks up your kitchen but works good. Or you can use alchohol and salt inside the bowl and it will clean it right out

Soak in rubbing achohol. When I worked making chemicals we had this very dangerous stuff called Methilyn Chloride. Greatest stuff in the world for cleaning bowls. Not healthy but would clean anything in seconds.

what if you put it in the dishwasher? the rinse cycle may not do much but the steam drying action might melt the rez away.... in theory

Honestly I wouldn't bother. Soap residues in pipes and resin on your dishes just doesn't sound nearly as effective as rubbing alcohol/drinking alcohol + salt + Paper towels

I wouldn't boil a glass pipe. I could see it breaking very easily.

Best way is to clean it as good as you can with a paperclip to get all the rez out, then soak it in the highest percentage alcohol you can find. Shake it around a bit with some alcohol and salt in there also.

Then rinse and dry.

I use a process of ridiculously hot water and salt in a ziploc bag with the bowl in it.
And just hold the bowl and shake the bag for 10 minutes or so.
Jerk off the bag I guess is how I would describe the arm movements.
And then scrape it as clean as possible with a paperclip.
And then use rubbing alcohol and salt with big granules. Same thing as the water.
Paperclip again.
Perfect.

a bag + salt and alcohol always seems to do quite nicely. might have to go through a couple times, rinsing with hot water in between

I use Dr. Bronner's hemp soap, hot water and rag/Qtip/cotton ball. Works great.

I try to clean my peice everyday.

Makes it much easier and quicker, and it cuts down on the overall smell.

I find resin too smelly, sticky, and difficult to handle;just to enjoy my high,
so I just 'flush' it out the old pipe,

and try to get the most out of the "first generation" high off the herb,
than recycling the resin.

*Word of caution;
Glass breaks because of the rapid change in temperature.
A Piece Too Hot rinsed out with Really Cold water.
