Safe in the trunk

does anyone think a large, heavy duty combination Safe in your trunk would be realativly safer than not havin anything for driving around with weed.

i mean, it sorta makes sense, more sense than doing nothing

say your driving around with some weed in your trunk, in a safe. seems like it would be safer in a police encounter than having nothing at all, whats a pig gonna do? get a lock smith on spot to crack the safe?

well, now that any u.s. police officer can walk a drug dog up to the car with no probable cause whatsoever, i don't think a safe really matters anymore.

they'd just confiscate it if the dog barked maing.

i says you scould have the safe in the back, under material like the material in the trunk, and if found or asked about, have an excuse that would fit why you would have a safe. maybe an emergency case or something.

not suspicious at all when they call the dog and it smells weed...

...it's called a search warrant and they'd be more than happy to hang onto your car until they get it open.

I know a guy who does that. He got stopped once, cop asked him what was in the safe, he said tools, the cop believed him and let him go.

Theres millions of reasons you might want something like that.

But in all honesty a locked toolbox or lockbox would serve purpose.

Having a safe in the trunk to store pot is alright as long as you can lie legitimately to the police and you don't blaze in your car.

I like the idea of a locked tool box, possibly bolted into the trunk, so it can't be moved. Lots of tradesmen I know constantly lock up their tools because of the high theft rate on construction sites and car break ins. Sorry Cop Dude, the key is on my set of shop keys at home.

i think it would seem more suspicious and raise even more questions that would put you in a corner very fast.. of course you could easily lie about it and say that it is very sexual and very personal material (i.e. photos, lengerie etc.) inside the safe. all you have to do is not look suspicious in the first place.

IF you are stoned while you are driving have a bottle of tylenol with you and some visine drops handy. if the cop asks about your dazed look simply tell him you have bad allergies or a cold.
