High!

My name is Bud, and I like to use marijuana on a regular basis. I'm in upper management at a medium size corporation, and I'm quite successful. I have been a pot smoker for 25 years with no problems except for those holier than thou types who think everything's a sin. Never any health problems, I stay in shape, and I am a marijuana rights activist. I'm here because it's time for me to join a community that accepts my use of marijuana without judging me for it. Legalization will happen in my lifetime.

Mr. O - Just remember how much joy being a parent brings! My wife just had my first daughter two weeks ago, and it is really effecting my outlook on life.

I've been tokin since 1969 & lived in Denver in 1974...when a handful of States started 'decriminalizing' anything 'under 1 oz = $25 citation'. I think there were 9 or 11 States on the same wave-length & I was thrilled with this decision.

NO AGAIN!! WTF?? OK, by 2000/2001 [the 21st century], the general population HAS to come to their senses & legalize a substance that's never killed a single person...while how many hundreds of thousands of people die each year from alcohol & tobacco? Fuckin NO again!!

2010? Ya think?...

Ugh! I was having a bad spell. I'd say day but i usually snap out of that shit in minutes now. The exception is when my wife get's foul. When I feel like her support isn't there my depression is quick to flood over me--don't get me wrong, if she ditched me I'd get over it, but there would be an adjustment period for sure (unlike when I was a numb part of my family of origin, I am quite attached to both her and my girls).

Bud Marley, welcome. I hope you are right though I have my doubts. Idealistically our society is already here but there are an awful lot of entities that make a fortune through this corrupt drug war.

Who know though, our new drug Czar stated that the "drug war" needed to be rethought and he has indicated a non crime-and-punishment approach may be in order. Unlike the other day I guess that has me feeling a bit optimistic, actually. Anyway, welcome to yahooka, Bud.

Hello, I am quite new to posting. I first joined in Nov. I haven't been back sense that day, I found Yahooka looking for a solution to some issues at work. I got here through Google. I appreciated the help I recieved from the post I was directed to, however I became kind of paranoid about being on pot sight and well, hey, lets just say I am no longer afraid. No fear is my game now, so I am here...... Thank you to who ever kept e-mailing and saying you missed me, because I really do like pot and I reallly do like this forum!

Welcome back (?) Caution is good--I asked questions in hypotheticals for quite some time, myself. The truth is we are way too small for agency interests unless you talk crazy shit (mass quantities, threatening high-placed officials, etc). Always be careful though, there's always some ass looking to hurt someone over weed in order to fight evil! I guess my point is that at our pace most of us need only be leary of locals looking to trade humans for misguided ideas about the greater good.

The other day I heard a TV comment about Cheney and his "info bots" that mine information about everyone's habits. They probably have a file on us all. I hope me and my girls are gone when the shit hits the fan but I think 1984 is already here and that day is closing in.

Why am I here? Just for today (AA), I guess i'm here to say 'hi" and vent.
