Why are YOU here? (First timers!)

I gots to thinking about it. I popped 'marijuana' into Google and came up with YaHooka, that was three or so years ago and I've been flapping my gums ever since, it was the varied personalities that kept me coming back. I had just become computer literate and was looking to interact on some level of the information super highway, YaHooka forums seemed a place where I could spout pretty much whatever I wanted without fear of anything but being bashed about being green. I read alot, I wrote alot, I tailored my style to those who read it on a regular basis and the fact that anyone reads it still astounds me.

So yeah, what was I talking about...

I come here to stroke my oh so fragile ego and hopefully entertain.

Since this is where most n00bs come first, I'd kind of like to know, why are you here? Do you hope to acomplish anything? You looking to giggle at Flamingnuns picture while you smoke a bowl?

My boyfriend posted here and we've always had computers right next to each other. I would read over his shoulder as he bitched about ATC, lol. And to tell you all the truth, I LOVED HER. I loved how Tantric would get such a rise out of him, and I now that I'm a member here I get a kick out of her pics, posts, and the reaction of all the boys. Tantric was also the first person to greet me here. I didn't start an intro thread, I just jumped into a "calling all ladies" thread and she was the first to say hello to me. (For any n00bs who don't know what I'm talking about here, Atantricchic is a strong-willed black chick who posts here.)

And I realized how much character this place had, so I'm still here. Yeah.

At first I was just a lurker, just came here to get info on weed and other drugs (this was back in the day when Other Highs was visible to the public). Eventually I registered (Hukanzo, 2003) because I had a few questions of my own. I specifically remember my first thread here being about bringing alcohol on an airplane. lol, good memories.

Now I stay here purely for the entertainment, and to keep adding to my knowledge. I must say atleast 60% of everything I know about drugs has come from here.

I heard about this place on OG they were so negative about yahooka, I just had to check it out and found this place to have less drama than OG.

Yeah, but not in a positive way, one guy was telling newbies they would be better off at yahooka, meaning they did not have what it takes to become a member of OG

At age 27 I finally decided I wanted to try pot. I wanted to learn about marijuana before actually using it. I Googled "marijuana" and found Yahooka.

OG was a site called Overgrown but they got shut down. The picture under your name is an avatar. If you go to user cp at the top of your page, you can edit your avatar and all the other things in your profile. Welcome to yahooka. bongsmilie

I actually used to just look at bongs all day on the actuall yahooka site under the headshop's links...

Then I saw there was a forum, I had never even seen a message board before and thought id give it a try....

I new of yahooka i would use it 2 look pictures and tips. I joined cuz i found out there was forums when i was searching pot on yahoo. I stay for the laughs and the kool people and the good advice.
