Returning to the site

Well after a couple years of hiatus (moving around country, car accident, hospital stay, surrgeries, etc) I'm back on the forums!

Hope to check out the new faces and hope to see some great threads and hope to educate new and experienced alike!

Oh, and I'm no longer in Tennessee, I moved to California!

Everything except my femur, which is held together with a rod of titanium. At least it helped me get my medical card!

Herb helps me alot in several ways. Lower back pain not the least of them.

We're in the process of making YaHooka stronger. Avoid construction if at all possible .

Rod's permanent. The femur was destroyed in one spot, so that's what's holding it together. Pins hold my wrist together, thankfully I have decent range of motion in them so I can play guitar! No bionics, though I would love a kick-butt bionic eye.

its cool that you came back , tells alot about this place. i have a rod also but in my lower leg . you said it helped you get a card im guessing thats for medical? i want to move to cali , not only for that but now it seems like a better idea. did they give you it for pain management, or a diffrent reason ? i got alot of questions for you? intrested if so pm me or however that works

Getting the card was ridiculously easy. I brought all the x-rays and paperwork from the hospital in Memphis, they didn't even look at it. I told them it was for pain management and for anti-anxiety after the accident (I kinda freak out sometimes when walking down the street, now.) and they just gave me the script straight up. There's absolutely nothing to getting your card.

I don't need to worry about missing Memphis BBQ - I worked half of those rib shacks when I was younger, so I can just make it myself!
