what is the rave scene like in nv?

the rave scene is more of a family here in reno. we all look out for each other, and we are all very close compared to the L.A., Sac and San Fran scenes. you can walk into a rave and ask just about anyone "have you seen so and so?" and they'll point you their way. on of our family members was recently shot during a home invasion, and even though our promoters and our scene kids have their differences, everyone put their differences aside and banded together to help out our friend, and we are throwing him a fundraiser to help pay for his hospital bills. also, our DJ's are some of the best, and they are all very friendly with their fans. we have alot of pystrance, drum n' bass, house, dubstep, and electro djs here, and even a little hardstyle. all of our djs are loved by all our scene kids, and theyre all well known and popular. im not a dj, but i am known as Puirate Raver for my photography. i take photos at raves and post them on our NVraves.com forums for later viewing. i'll definitely be hanging for a while here. everyone here seems really chill and laid back like me! i wish everyone the best, and hope that some of you will get the chance to taste our sweet california gold someday.

sounds a lot like the rave scene in alberta canada. my friends are into psytrance mostly (when they are the ones in charge of hosting the parties and djing). everyone from all crews are friendly though and that is what i like most about it. multiple groups usually coordinate on bigger events and that is always fun.

we have a gathering here called Stilldream and people from every scene on the west coast come to it, and last year there were even djs from the UK and canada. it is the biggest gathering on this coast, brought forth by Desert Tribe and Viral Vibes. i know the 2 men who are the head of both crews. its basically like a mini burning man.

Everything grows great up there no matter what... actually, I wouldn't call it better because I've had better weed here but I'm not sure if it was grown here or shipped from elsewhere.
