A friend of mine whom I haven't heard from in a year or so calls me at 1:00 in the morning

"Hey Couch?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm in the Cash Cab, you get to help me win money"
"Ok, cool"
"What is the process in which a solid turns to a gas faster than a liquid turns to a gas"
"Fuck dude, IDK chemistry, I failed that shit"
(I'm at my computer doing my English Composition paper so I look it up real fast and can't find anything, so I just tell him a word I see that looks good)
"Chromatography? "
"Ok thanks"
"I'm just guessing tho"
"Better than mine, bye"

Turns out its "Sublimation" It was his 3rd strike, so he didn't win any money, but he got a free cab ride and a t-shirt.

He called me cause I know a lot of random trivia. Turns out I don't know enough.

But more importantly while I was talking to him afterward I asked him if he knew where to find Lucy and he does, so I'm buying 100 dollars worth next time I see him. This makes me happy, cause I've been trying to get it for a year and a half or so.

i guess its maybe not something that everyone does/thinks on a regular basis

if you have a high melting solid you can purify it by sublimation fairly easily

It was my friend's phone and he's the only one that spoke to me, I got like a 5 second introduction, he asked the question and as I'm thinking I hear the guy in the background say "10 seconds" "5 seconds", so I didn't have any time to really wrack my brain anyhow.

It seemed to be exactly like it was on the show... IDK if maybe he tried other people before me.
