Highlo Fellow Mellow Stoners,
I was just wondering if there's any Incense burning while getting your High on. There is no need to get into anything personal as to why you burn( if you care to share why then go ahead) but i have a few reasons, Meditation, Relaxation, and a pleasent fragrance is always nice. I am just wondering what your favorites are...So on that note, here are mine. I mainly Shop at the Head shops and Green Earth for my selections. Thanks for Sharing. ![]() Patchouli Patchouli Forest Mytth Frankencense Sunrise Rose Sandlewood Windhorse Green Tara Snowlion Tibetan Himalayan ![]()

It was a long time ago, in a far off place...
My friend was "practicing" the craft and he and his g.f. had alot of scents. I remember one distintcly, as Egyptian Tomb or I guess Egyptian Musk. I don't remember the name but it smelled great, really trippy. I wish I remembered the exact name.

Frankencense
Sandalwood white sage(home grown) Tara (some Tibetin amalgamation which must have some yak piss in it and maybe even some yak shit to help it burn) Others which escape me... Recently I have taken to making my own insense. The last batch consisted of equal parts of white sage, basil flowers, flax flower stem, and cured cannabis leaf. It was quite nice, though the sage was a touch too bold and out shone the others somewhat. Speaking of canna though - what better insense is there? And made to inhale more vigorously. There be nothing quite like the smell of 'some' strains of the fine plant. And hash can also be exquisite if it is of a favourable strain or is of a suitable mix of many strains. What a better way to sample a season than to get into some more advanced aromatherapy with a blend of strains? ![]() I may have to make up some more insense and this time use bud instead of leaf and maybe add some drops of essential oils to spice things up. my 2 cents

I used to like to light a dried sage leaf on fire and then blow the flame out so that the edges glowed. I'd put a plate under it and then walk around the room. After I had walked around the room with the burning leaf once, I put the leaf out in a bit of water. I didn't need to walk around the room more than once because the leaves were potent.
I can't do that anymore because I am living in someone else's house and they don't like insense. I have vape now anyway. I will use sage again when I get my own place (hopefully soon!)

Well someone did mention sandalwood which is in Nag Champas.
But yeah I am a very devout Nag Champa burner.

I don't like burning incense sticks.. the smoke is usually too strong. But recently I started smoking the reefer with vanilla flavoured tobacco.. which tastes pretty good. The best part though is that the smell of the vanilla neutralises the smell of the ganja. This is good when you live in an apartment. So now that I have an out I bought some oil burners and a load of oils. Vanilla is still by far the best one for a general room smell.

WD-40.
![]() Now seriously, my judo sensei in college used to have something great that he used to order from some catalog company from the east. Much more subtle than you're typical overpowering incense. Just enough to stimulate your olfactory senses without washing everything out in odor. I still kick myself for never finding out how to get some for myself.........
