Awwww, your pets look so poopsie My daughter loves bearded dragons...she wouldn't leave the one we saw at a bird pavilion alone.

Here's my pet babies:

This is Trina (the calico) and Poobee (the black cat):

They just turned 2 this month. They're fraternal twins and they're really cute...by far the sweetest cats I've ever seen. They were my mom's for the first year until she left to Israel so my BF and I took them in.

These are our peach-faced, aqua tail love birds (Blondie on the left, Zeppelin on the right):

They're still babies. We got them from my BF's aquaintance who breeds birds. They're pretty cute and Blondie always sings when I play guitar but they're not hand trained so I ended up with a lot of bird bites trying to get them that way.

Awwww... what cute kitties and birds (hehe... Blondie and Zeppelin... love it). I have a couple of birds (cockatiels)... lol... I have sort of a zoo. Yeah, beardies are awesome. I love ours!

No, my precious Shay dog is a mutt. I was told she is half Sharpei when she was given to us but that's all that I know. She's the best dog I've ever owned... possibly the best in the world hehe. Do you have a pic of your dog?

I love lizards too, used to have anoles and geckos when I was a kid. And turtles and newts and snakes and frogs.

Been meaning to get a couple more lizards for the longest time, just want to finish fixing my place up first.

Beautiful cats

Tori is adorable! I love dogs. That second picture reminds me of George Carlin's skit on dogs, "Oh please, Daddy... just one.... more..... treat"

Jimmy, that's cool that you're thinking of getting another lizard. A mistake that I made with my first lizards (ehem... my 'sons' first lizards.. hehe), which were a gecko and anoles was that I didn't get a UVB light for them. The lights cost quite a bit but they just die without them (especially if they are basking lizards... nocturnal ones may be able to do without). Bearded Dragons are awesome. I'm hooked

... and also I would be sure that they are captive bred (CB) and not wild harvested. I think that may be why anoles die so easy. It's pretty difficult to take a wild creature and raise it... much better to start with captive bred. I got mine from a breeder this time too... the pet store animals can be 'iffy' to say the least and I was disgusted that I wasn't given the appropriate information to keep the first lizards alive.

PETCO...WHERE THE PETS GO - TO DIE - Press Releases - Animal Defenders of Westchester - We advocate on all animal protection and exploitation issues, including experimentation, factory farming, rodeos, breeders and traveling animal acts

What breed is he? He looks like a dog I had as a kid which is a type of sheppard you see in the Asian corners...

He's adorable. He reminds my so much of my dog, I'm getting pure de ja vu from childhood. I remember my dog used to get mistaken for a Newf. Those breeds have a lot of resemblence.

Thank you. I am glad to bring up good memories. I think the dog you are talking about is a Tibetan Mastiff which is what I thought Palmer was when I first saw him in a rescue shelter but his mom was a Bull Mastiff.

Palmer is a great dog but even at his size he thinks he is a lap dog!! I have never had a small dogs always liked the big boys. Here some other pics of Palmer and one of a Tibetan Mastiff.
