Hello to everyone reading this and especially to Matt... I sure wish we can talk right about now... Things crazy and right now would be a good time to pontificate on the state of things - I can't imagine what you would say. So anyway, I visit your grave a couple times a month. I think you have one of the best spots in the whole place. Its secluded with a bench & tree for shade. Theres usually fresh flowers in a Pepperdine mug and now theres a bunch of pumpkins and great big orange flowers. I left some baseball cards and someone left you a couple hand written notes. I bet your Dad is going to get you nice headstone - but I guess it takes forever for those things to be made.
Anyway Matt & Anyone else thats reading this - I should get going, its late and I need to plan my agenda for a big week ahead. Will this be the week I get my act together? I hope so, its up to me after all... I wanted you to be a part of what I'm trying to accomplish and to share in the achivement. Even though your not here now, you've still had a big influence on my life. Thanks Matt... talk to you later bro... Man Matt I just read your pm's you sent me again and shed a few tears. I know you are in a better place and man and we will meet someday. Throw some of that magic around up their homie and know you got all of us thinking about you.

It's almost been a month. We all still think of you, Matt. You are not forgotten.

Matthew was my 2nd cousin, which has led me to this website.
I didn't know him very well, but after reading all these posts, I'm starting to feel like I did....( he reminds me of all of us)
we are all a bit lost, but we love so much.....
I wish I had a chance to tell him how much his family loved him...
my heart aches so much for his dad and for his son.
I wish I knew he was on-line, so I could of talked to him...

Just got back from your funeral Matt, it was crazy seeing you lay there, it didn't look real... they took off your goatee but that was probably for your Dad, the whole thing was basicly for your Dad - he was cool. He was even cool to Steve and Shawn... Peace Out Brother!

It so hard to think about this. I never talked to you, but I know you and Verk talked through emails sometimes. I was very sad last night when we learned of this. Verk was more ok with it because he understood you. You are in a better place now, I'm sure. Rest in peace.
