Grandma's Boy
Now, I don't remember this movie being publicized much, if at all--I never saw theatre previews or trailers as television commercials.
The non-whoring of the flick could subtly add to the brilliance of it (personally makes no diff to me), but everyone who's seen it along with myself are enamored with it, and nobody should care about the lack of big-name A-list celebrities in it. You love it too, Y/N? Strange thing is, I haven't ever peeped the movie while sober. I don't dig a lot of stoner flick classics (as they can be retarded) so this is not a typical reaction. I always happen to be stoned whenever I repeat-watch it so it's as if I always notice something new about the dialogue or forget what was so amusing about it. ![]() What did you think, if you've seen it?

you have to give it to any movie that makes one silently wonder how it would be if they could have fully-functioning metal legs. just for a day, even.
(amazing, fyi)

it was pretty popular in theaters around here, i definitely saw adds for it but not as many as other flicks
i always thought i would hate it cus i really do not like anything that would be considered a 'stoner flick' but i saw it on hbo a while ago and thought it was hilarious, if i ever see it is on the toob i will usually flip it over and watch it

I have to say, it's about the most useful thing I ever saw Michigan Militia talk of.
Awesome movie tho, liking the Animal House spoof poster.

it is one of my favorite movies because it has everything...dr. shockla, car beds, lions, techno-talk, the devil, colonel crackers, karate chopin monkeys, sensi tea sippin grandmas, weed hating landlords, romance, drama. so much fun to watch when you just feel like having a real good laugh.
and I made the effort to listen to the commentary when I got on the dvd for 6.50 the other day and go through that feature stuff. I reccomend listening to it. a lot of cool stuff went into the making of this movie I never knew about and it makes you think about how if adam sandler was in this movie it would affect it big time. ![]()

I used to work in an office almost exactly like the one depicted in this move. After seeing it sober the first time, I fell in love with the movie. I have since seen it in other states and still love this movie. Most of my friends (who are video game programmers and have been known to indulge in certain herbal remedies) also love this movie.
There was also a person in the office that was a pretty good life-like version of Sheldon? (the weird ub4r g33ky dude). It was almost comical when he'd start whining about shit. He even had a voice close to the robot one the geeky genius had in the movie when he'd start whining.

Nick Swardson is the man. This was the first time I saw him, but he was funny in Chuck and Larry, Blades of Glory, his stand-up's deadly... I'd imagine anything he was in would be funny

I saw Nick Swardson do live standup at Virginia Tech--he was incredible
it's beast that he drinks and parties with his fans after shows too.
