Not sure how the multiplayer will pan out. sounds good in theory, but theyre gonna have to do a crazy-good job to make it work.

for the value, i'd say even today, if i were to suggest a system to anyone, especially somebody just getting their feet wet in gaming and buying their first system, i'd recommend they get a PS2. what are they now, like $110 or something? and the new games are like 29$. and thank god God of War is still exclusive. is Metal Gear still exclusive too?

Yeah, we're not talking about the ps2, so stfu. Based on game availability and sales records, the xbox wins.

Agreed would be a bit weird trying to play against mates on split screen or some shit. Certainly not sure how 16x multiplayer would work... maybe it means online multiplayer.

Online GTA would be amazing (sorry if I'm slow off the mark here, dunno if San Andreas was available to play online, never checked)

just an open city show down.. take out all the npcs

add weapons to cars for multiplayer? or it that too twisted metal.

or make something like a post-apacolypse citys scape, cars stopped in the street, guns every where... you jack a car, and a crisped skeleton falls out.

16 player madness ensues. being able to enter buildings would be tight

Finally. I've been waiting for MP news for a while. I think Rockstar learned a thing or two from Saints Row in terms of pretty much everything. I actually call Saints Row GTA 3.5. Gotta get some money together. Time to start slangin' (j/king. or am I? )

So what's your point, that the ps2 had an exclusive lineup, until, uh, another console was made? Regardless, you're bitching about something that happened FOUR years ago, and is hardly/isn't at all, relevant to an argument about next gen consoles.

The PS3 didn't fuck up entirely with a shitty launch, they fucked up by losing all their best game contracts, and thus as a result have no games that I can't play, with better online support, on my xbox, bar MGS4, which still is nowhere near going into the gold stages of production.
