mario kart Wii

i was just wondering if any1 who has this game prefers the wheel control setup? or the nun chuck with the remote...? i think the wheel is pretty good, but i ave been foolin with the other remote options, and when i play online, it seems the ppl w/ the best times dont use the wheel, they use the nun chuck w/ the wiimote.... any1 else??

The wheel is ok. I don't prefer it though. I like using the Wii remote and the Wii Classic Controller plugged into it.

ahhh, memories of many nights spent playing vs. mode with my brothers and friends in search of the elusive, all-powerful red shell.

i've got to finally get my hands on one of these new-fangled vidya wii devices. been putting it off for waaaaaaaay too long.

^When you finally get a Wii and play MarioKart, you're going to fucking love it. I too, have many memories of staying up SOO late with my sister playing that game.

(btw, there is a dolphin in the color of blue, that would really love getting a wii as well )

i assume since u saiid u posted from your wii online, what device do u use to connect??i got the usb dongle, its sweet..plug n play , iive been playin around w/ the nunchuck and wiimote, but its too hard 4 me 2 contril, where the wheel has that button on the backm i can tap it on my knee to get the power ups n weapons...ya, mario kart is the best game since pac man ...i cant wait till they get really good at making games for the wii, as its only been around for a short period of time....i remen=mber when the ps1 1st came out and it wasnt as responsive as cartridge based games, now the cd';s are just as responsive as cartridge basedgames, and hold more memory...im thinkin about buyin that thick ass book thats made for mario kart owners..do you guys have it? is it worth the 15 or so bucks?

verk-good luck on getting 1, it took me 6 months of calling EVERY DAY to the point of where they got sick of me asking 4 one hehehe...determinati on paid off! i got one but i hear they didnt make enough, so theyre gonna be hard to find 4 awhile

yeah, that game is amazing. I used to use the wheel, but now usually just use the remote with no wheel. and sometimes I use the nunchuck attachment.

The best part is playing online. I love to use offensive names and piss people off. sometimes they leave, sometimes i just get a face full of red shells.

i broke down and bought the $20 book thats made especially for mario kart wii , well see if it helps me

Ok, still posting from my Wii. It's not the most convenient, but it works pretty damn good considering.
I just use WiFi and plug in my keyboard. For the mousey parts. I use the Wii remote. I'm still getting used to it. But, will probably be back on my PC in a couple of days.

As far as the "blue dolphin", I was throwin' in a little heads up about how his wife really wants a Wii too.

ohh ok i love m-kart, and the book shows u how to unlock all the special features, i.e. racing w/ your mii, its the best game to come out for the wii so far (i.m.o.)...although i did get mlb 2k 8 and it got scratched, but it was so much fun i bought itagain
(this time w/ game guard)..i always buy a game guard (insurance if the game goes down the tubes) now...but A.S.G.,if you want to exchange wii codes so we can race against each other mines 0001-3830-5949......although i do have a finicky wifi adapter, sometimes it works, others it doesnt.?? i gotta reboot my laptop now anyways...
