repair tvs?

anyone know how to repair a tv. living room tv (about 30 years old) turned off one day and now wont turn on. obviously im not going to put any money that isnt in reason but would just like to tinker around and if its something easy, cool. i know these things can be a bitch finding picture tubes and other electrical components but with these internet sites im sure its not impossible. what say you?

Sounds like the tube may have finally burned out.

Not sure there's much to do. Try a thrift store for a reasonably priced, used replacement.
