Fuck the arguements and console wars..

What games did you see that got you hyped?

Nearly everything that was showcased looks legit. Games coming out in the future almost all look like must haves.

My list of enjoyment.

Fallout 3 - Looks like hours of enjoyment and a new innovative gameplay

Fable 2 - hopefully they deliver on everything they are promising unlike with the first

GT5 - looks awsome as always not to mention the GT TV that you get with purchase with multiple channels catering to the racing world

Mirrors Edge - don't know much about this game but looks quite entertaining

Starwars The Force Unleashed - drool much?

Prince of Persia - new chars new story new gameplay and some amazing new graphic tenchology make this game look WONDERFUL

Resident Evil 5 - holy shit

Spore - fun times x10

Gears of War 2 - online fun

God of War 3 - awsomeness

NBA Live 09 - i'll cross anyone over online

Killzone 2

The Agency

DC Universe Online

Should I go on?

And oh yea, I think it was called MAG (massive action gameplay) Kind of like a battlefield2 game but with 256 people online at once on the same server.... can you say holy shit?

MY list:

Fallout 3 - I think it might be revolutionary if it delivers.

Little Big Planet- Game of Show potential for me. Looks absolutely awesome!! Can't wait to play this one.

Fable 2 - only Xbox exclusive that I'll have to borrow my brother's system to play. I can't wait for this one.

Mirrors Edge - looks REALLY cool

Prince of Persia - the demo of this on G4 had me literally giggling in excitement. I wasn't that big of a fan of the sands of time ones, but the new engine and gameplay looks absolutely SICK!

dark void- looks like it could deliver some really cool gameplay.

Spore - For me, if this delivers, could be my favorite game of all time. The concept certainly is.

God of War 3 - didn't play the other ones, but from the hype and excitement I am certainly going to give #3 a go.

The Agency- God I hope this is as cool as it looks.

DC Universe Online- not sure how I feel about a standard MMO on a console, but this certainly has potential.

Rockband 2- more of the same it seems....but that isn't a bad thing at all.

street fighter 4- I used to LOVE these games...this iteration looks epic.

Final Fantasy 13- I got into FF this past year (little late to the party) and I'm excited for this one!

As for the zombie/horror/scary games, I don't get any enjoyment from them, but RE5 looks really well done.

i dont know what to think about this - E3 2008: EA CEO confirms KOTOR MMO - PC News at GameSpot

could be amazing could be crap. swg was ok, flawed in a few big ways that left me uninterested. but kotor 1 and 2 were awesome so im going to see how this develops.

Verk, as a fellow wii-ite, do you agree that Nintendo brought the fail this year? Or did you think the stuff they showed was quality?

Personally, my PS3 looks like it's going to claim top shelf on my entertainment unit this year. which is sad, cuz I luv nintendo.

I heard swg was fucking awsome before they updated it and made it hella gay.

But yea KOTOR MMO would be huge if they don't gay it all out and release it before its ready.

Man a kotor mmo would be awesome, but bioware is also making dragon age.

One of the rpgs i wanted to see really badly(besides fable 2 and fallout3- bethesda is making obvlion mmo as well) was Jason and the Argonauts.

Jason and the Argonauts will be fucking awesome, they showed barely a few mins of it, was disappointed. They are going for a realistic combat in which they said, if you swing and connect at an arm, that arm is gonna fly off. Just don't piss of Ares and you'll be fine.

Lotr conquest looked good too. You can play good side or evil. Evil has alternate ending however where you get the ring back. You will be able to play as a balrog. Even sauron.

It's called Beastriders. Several different things you can ride, the original dragon looked awesome.
