New version of Firefox blows
So I got the newest version of firefox and it doesn't let me clear my private data, it gives me the option but then after I do it all my history is still in that fucking url box.
I don't need my buddies to know all the freaky porn I'm into. Anyone know how to clear your history with this new version? |

Yeah, go back to FF2 and when the little update box comes up next time, click the the 'never' option.
Where IE7 seems to be a straight ripoff of FF2 with a few tweaks, FF3 seems to be a straight ripoff of IE7 which is a bad ripoff to begin with. Its not just the private data thing either, for the most part, it just didn't 'feel' right. ![]()

Uhm, my web history isn't stored.
But what is stored, that looks like web history, is your favorites that you have bookmarked.

I'm tempted to go back to internet explorer, firefox has turned to shit because of the simple fact that it crashes over 10 times a day. for me anyway.

Yes me. I have tried FF and for me is isn't that much better. I acn browse with IE and my antivirus and firewall protect me very well agaisnt threats so IE is very good.
I only use different browsers to test the web pages I create. To see how they display in different browsers (IE 6,7,FF2,SFARAI etc) and thats all. For normal browsing IE 7 is pretty good |

I never upgraded from 2. I don't really like some of the features on the new one. Not to mention, some of my add-ons don't work with the new version (yet) so not upgrading was the simplest thing I could do.
