or knows someone that does?
I'm in the market for a new LT, and the more I read about them, the more I am inclined to buy one, specifically for home studio work, and to take with me to gigs or open stages to back me up when I'm playing live. Thoughts?

if your gonna buy a mac laptop, put up the extra bones and get a macbook pro. only thing i dont like about my macbook is the fact that it has intergraded video, which means no games. everything else about them is great. the new solid state drives are tight as hell.

Wait a week, they're going to announce new Macs on September 9.
I have a Macbook, the 13" entry level product from the first generation (i.e. 2006). It's great, but doesn't have nearly enough horsepower to do the things you want to do. NOW, the current high-end Macbook (the black one) DOES have the horsepower to do the things you want to do, but I'd still wait until next week to see what they come out with. The nice thing is though, when you have a MacBook, you can run Windows as well, which is the perfect thing for folks like you. |
