Aol

Does it still exist in the same format?

I remember back in the day when you paid the isp(aol, prodigy), when there was just a modem with dialup, and you were restricted to the provider's format, for instance aol. It's been so long I can't remember what their search engine was like.

Can someone explain to me how the internet changed? Now we pay companies like comcast or whatever, and you're set. Just hop on a search engine and go wherever you want.

So if AOL still exists, do members pay their provider (comcast) and aol. Seriously, someone help me catch up on the times.

This thought occurred to me the other day. I remember talking my dad into using firefox because he was still paying for AOL up until a few months ago. I haven't seen AOL commercials iether.
did they go out? That would make me happy. Burn in hell, ya fucks.

Haha I remember every time I'd call in to cancel my account they'd give me an extra 1-3 months and beg me to stay.

I got smart... I found an image I liked and I printed it. Instead of having to sift through crappy ones a lot.

Although printing took 15 minutes each page too, lol.

No one knows? I know aol still existed in some form. I used to take advantage of their 1 month free offers a few times before becoming a paying member. In the mail, at the stores, they were everywhere.

I think this is a Jewish conspiracy.
