A great eulogy by Jerry. Ed's wife was standing 20 feet away from him, and Jerry's last words were ". . .and I know he'll have some booze. " A silence went thru the audience and the cameras turned away quickly from the wife. Jerry went right along, with all his ticks and facial expressions, right to the next act.
You knew Jerry was going to be in good form from the beginning, Jerry started the show by complimenting an Irish girl dancer's legs after her opening show performance. She was 9. Even I felt creepy !

Lewis just passed the $ 50,000,000 mark as of 4 pm est. He says to hang in there for 8-9 months for some big news on a cure. (Maybe the 6 billion over the last 40 years is paying off).
After Jerry make a crack about the fireman that gave him a big check, he referred to his woman director as Eva Braun and said she had a " giant swastika on her ass. "
You can tell jerry's stay-awake drugs are losing it or maybe kicking in...the slurring of the speech is better than any other year !
Can't wait for the finale at 6 when Jerry completely breaks down...and it might not be fake this year !

No, I'm making a point about Jerry. Jerry's 84. This is real. Altho, I'm a little disappointed that they are hosting it at the Southpoint Hotel and Casino, whoever heard of that? I think it should have been at The Sands. To be fair, they didn't have the big names this year. No Norm Crosby or Phyllis Diller. I don't think it would have killed Steve and Edie to come in and say a few words.
