Game is about to be released here in the states. My buddy pre ordered but will not be able to make payments so gave me his account. So downloading now, will start playing again in a few days.

Anyone who pre ordered is getting a headstart so servers have opened up. This has probably been one of the smoothest launches since WoW, and LOTRO, a ton have failed since then.. Anyways, game is pretty themepark style, and took a lot of what the past MMOS including WoW have done right, but improved on them great. Game is looking to be good, but don't know if the themepark style gameplay willl hold my attention for to long, but till then I highly suggest this game as to be one of the best new MMOs out.

oh did I mention, you get wings, can fly, in air PVE and PVP combat, and its got just about the best graphics of any MMO out.

im probably gonna be picking this up in the next few days cuz i check out pretty much all new mmos

i heard its really crowded and laggy right now sow il probably wait till the weekend.

if you get it post your server/char names and stuff

yea people are having problems getting into servers but its to be expected when almost half a million people pre ordered and no telling how many more are buying as it comes out.

Nah that doesn't mean anything, give it a year or so before deciding how good an MMO is. Didn't NCsoft make guildwars? man that game sucked so much ass.

Guild Wars is another highly regarded MMOs. You have to give them credit, where credit is due, they did something that hadn't and still hasn't been done yet.

And while I am not one to jump on bandwagon when a game first comes out, I can recognize when a game comes out and looks very polished and the company actually has their shit togather. I've done research and a lot of the shit they've done is must take the basic ideas that successful MMOs have done with this new gen of MMOs, and sort of improved on it. At least in the themepark style of this genre.

You are most likely rambling on without really knowing anything about the game and putting your opinion out there like you are the only one that is right.

guild wars was definitely a successful mmo, if you want to call it that. aion is all a buddy in my CIS class has been talking about, and he's played uo, eq, and wow all to endgame so it must not be too bad. I really miss wow but seeing as I have a older macbook core2duo, raiding just really isn't an option..

If i ever get around to building my gaming rig, ill be back to wow, i really cant see starting the grind all over again with a new game. that is unless aion is some ground breaking stuff.

I preordered aion like 6 months ago and gamestop wouldnt let me cancel my order for collectors edition because i got the beta codes already. so i ended up paying 90 bucks for this game. im super pissed because ncsoft sells the collectors edition for 20 dollars cheaper and gamestop wouldnt update the price from the original....

well they gave you codes to get into the closed beta if you preordered thats why i did it so early

i won't buy it though. too busy for an mmo.

It does basically follow WoWs style of gameplay but has polished it up and added harsher penalties for dieing. Also has added a much better open ended type of PVP game play which I think is a huge plus.
