possibly the most retarded campaign of any game ever. ive just realised if you dont play the levels perfectly in order until the end you cant progress to the next mission. i quit a level so i could play it co op with my brother and now apparently im going to have to do the whole fucking game again just to get the next level to unlock.

So far I am disappointed with this game. My son beat it on the level above normal in like 45 minutes. Seems like it's not worth $50.

I think you are a bit confused.

If you play Co-Op up to a certain mission you can play with anyone else Co-Op up to that mission on a matching difficulty level or lower. If you play Solo up to a certain mission you can play solo up to that certain mission on a matching difficulty level or lower. If you played the entire game on easy then decided "Hey lets play on Legendary" you'll have to restart, that only makes sense.

And yes Halo isn't really a campaign game. It's always been about multi-player. Firefight is pretty bad ass in ODST but there is no new multiplayer.

Have your son try to play on Legendary, that's the way Halo should be played.

ya listen to residual envy. easy dificulty is a walkthrough. legendary is a street to street battle where you must stay covered and be creative with how you approach the ai. legendary or nothing imo

i have done all the levels so far on single player, it still doesnt unlock the next one. i thought if i re-done the level i completed on co op by myself it would unlock it but it doesnt.

i've never been big into halo.. never really got the appeal.
but i thought they were DONE with halo after halo 3.. then they come out with that shitty RTS and this piece of garbage.. are they just trying to do their part to fill the land-fills or what?

Bungie didn't make Halo Wars. It was made by a now defunct Ensemble Studios.

Bungie said it will no longer continue the Halo story line. If anyone has played Halo CE-3 you know that ODST did not follow this story line. Nor will Halo Reach. They never said they will not make another "Halo" game.

Halo sucks because when you bring up the lame ass campaign fanboys are like omg multiplayer.

Yea if all that's good about your game is online deathmatches cut the campaign entirely and drop the price by 30 bucks you fucking thieves

i consider myself a halo fan, but i must say the campaigns are pretty repetitive. the graphics have definitely come a long way, but they need to make the campaign a lot less predictable.

Ha. Halo CE revolutionized console LAN play. Halo 2 revolutionized online multiplayer console gaming. Halo 3 revolutionized console post game stats, screenshots and video recording. Before Halo there was nothing in comparison.
