found this and im getting real damn excited! this'll be my first 3d perspective mmo (never even got into eq) so i'm thinking i'll start with a warrior to get a grasp on the mechanics.

yeah i'll def be up and running by sometime this weekend, hopefully sooner. i feel like my pc could use some upgrades, so i was pleasantly surprised to find i surpass even the recommended requirements. shocking! i'm fuckin pumped

word, as far as graphics go this game runs surprisingly smooth. probably cuz the games been out in asia for awhile and theyve had time to steamline the code and stuff.

thats actually one of the cooler parts bout this game, the first half-year of awkwardness and patches isnt so bad cuz its been out for awhile already. i havent gotten a server que yet. good times so far.

yo everyone, been playing aion a bit. im on the israphel server if anyone wants to hit me up, asmodian side. i play a decent amount just started a new templar and have lvl 17 spirit master.

the game imo is a little bit carebear but i have a friend irl who plays so its still a good amount of fun. sorry i couldnt pick a different server, my friend already made a char on that server.

character names are "smut" and "omar"

if you pick my server, or you guys dont mind rerolling on my server i just made a new templar (tank)

got the game last night and started a char on vaizel, asmodian warrior named ariobarzan. the interface takes more getting used to than i thought but it's easy enough with a warrior. the chains are really easy and friendly. in uo you had to figure all this shit out on your own and time it perfectly. moving around is a bit of a pain because i feel like i'm playing elder scrolls and expect the mouse to move my vision, and strafing with q and e is just fucking weird, but give me a couple days and i'll have it down.

wish i had some screens, my char is a total badass. the game rules so far, hope to see someone tonight!

ya if you guys want to reroll on my server my new templar is only lvl 10, and me and my friend play a lot so we could definitely have some good times and i will help you along any way i can.

i know its a pain in ass though to start new server and lose your items, i would go on your server but i would lose a week of heavy playing and tradeskilling and shit and if i go through the low level zone again im gonna blow my brains out

ive heard very good thing about clerics. you can solo really well in the abyss cuz if the enemy gets the drop on you all you have to do is heal yourself, run away, and you live to fight another day.

its a nice little benefit in a game where dying actually incurs a penalty.

dont let the healer class fool you, you will be tearing up heads.

yeah i was just reading up on the cleric skills. they seem pretty well-rounded, i might just go for it

when do you guys usually get a chance to play? weekdays i'm good by 8 or so cst if not a bit sooner, weekends are a crapshoot

my prime hours are 9pm-1am

weekends im usually off and on alot

yea we need a healer.

this will be awesoem.

edit: also, make your character reasonably short if you want to fit in with the rest.

edit: also i just learned you can share items accross servers throug hte shared warehouse. that might help you guys out
