How would you like to get a 9800 pro for the price of a 9600 pro?


The hercules 3D prophet 9800 SE all-in-wonder 128mb goes for £160. or £139 heheheh. You get all the utilities too.

the upgrade doesn't always work and is best suited to increase the performance a bit. Don't expect a full £370 card.

The performance leap is very impressive however and as close as you will get.

1) Go to www.ocfaq.com/softmod and download the the softmodded display driver.
2)When the drivers are installed, reboot. Somethings may go run.
3)Run 3DMark and run the fill rate test. It should be about 2000 to 3000-thats double.
4)You can undo it by rolling back to the catalyst drivers.
5)Install some heat-reduction measures. fan at front and back minimum.
6)Monitor the temperature with a program
7)If your brave overclock from 375Mhz to 400Mhz
8)If you don't understand this, don't do it.
