word up. going to see Taj Mahal with the carolina chocolate drops on february 15th here in town. it's billed as part of my schools 'jazzfest', which also has vic wooten playing the night before.

Just got back from Ani DiFranco - Philadelphia. She puts on a great show. Really charming, funny, energetic. It's good to see someone who truly loves what they do. She feeds off of it, and it shows.

i am going to reggae again on sunday, as i have pretty much every weekend since october. the band finished their album (finally) and is releasing it on the 10th (yay sunday)

they have sundays booked until the end of march! i am getting more than my required amount of live reggae music, which is awesome

i went on a spur of the moment road trip and saw Ween this past saturday in south carolina.

fuckin sick road trip. i'd never been to the HOB before, that place is nuts. 4 bars in one club is crucial. and the sound is awesome in there, not a bad seat in the house.

ween was the shit. hadnt seen em before, but if you are familiar with them i would definitely recommend you go and have fun at one of their shows.
