Xavier Rudd in Philly next Saturday. I can't even contain myself. I haven't seen him live yet because he always seems to skip over Philly. Prayers have been answered!

Alright, so I just got back from good ol' Xavier. And it was bangin. If there's anything I can wholeheartedly vibe to it's didgeridoo beats, and a stunning man's vocalizations. Good good feelins walkin away tonight.
 As for upcoming concerts that I'll be seeing in philly: Damien Jurado, Rusted Root, Mason Jennings, Citizen Cope, Donavon Frankenreiter. Exciteddd

Last concert i went to was Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish in Toronto. It was a good show and i spent most of the time crowd surfing lol Felt like i was 16 again
I'm going to see The Who in October, and Neil Young in December. Best concert of the summer was the Mayhem tour with Slipknot. I had a lot of fun that day :P (yes i realize all these concerts are completely different types of music but i have a wide range of musical taste lol)

I saw ZZ top last weekend, it was great. Those old bastards still know how to get down. And Billy Gibbons was paying tribute to Jimi Hendrix, saying how much he appreciated him taking them under his wing when they were only 18. And then they played "Hey Joe", which was fucking amazing. I figure that's about as close as I'll get to seeing a Hendrix song performed live by somebody I respect, because they were taught by the master himself.
