Yo let's go see a concert!
In this thread, you can write about an upcoming concert that you are going to, a concert you have just been to, or a concert experience that has that special place in your heart..
I'll start off by saying that I'm going to see Antony and the Johnsons 8 September, with 2 of my buddies.. We are gonna get high as kites, and just enjoy what so far promises to be one hell of a sad, wonderful concert..
Enjoy..

^yea I went to warped tour and it was a mix of pure shit and a few good bands. I really hope you got to see Valient Thorr.
Anyways fuck you nun and your superior line-up with Slayer, I wish we would of got In Flames. Enjoy Lamb Of God, IMO they steal the show.

Just saw the Marley brothers & Bunny Wailer at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday....great show. Of course pretty much any show is good when you can bring a cooler full of bottled beer into the venue.
One thing that really cracked me up was, in a very demonstrative sign of the times, durring an intermission the DJ tells everyone to open and raise up their cell phones. Apparently raising a lighter has gone the way of the dinosaur.

It's not The Who without John's bassline. They're down to half a band and Pete can't even hear his own guitar. Maybe they can just do the show with Daltry and a karaoke machine.

that sounds ridiculously cool...too bad i couldn't go i doubt its anywhere near me.
but this friday im going to Family values tour, with Stone Sour, Korn, and Deftones. I'm pretty excited, ive seen korn before and they are amazing live, they really put their all into it. i haven't seen either stone sour or deftones live, but hopefully they're good as well, and i actually have heard the new stone sour cd quite a few times and i really like it.
plus i didnt even have to pay for my ticket. life is nice when youre a girl.

I had the pleasure of attending this year's Bonnaroo down in Manchester, Tennessee. The best use of $700 for a 3 day period of completely fucked up bliss, the most vast array of drugs, and awesome music. You can count me in for next year.
And I still have a good portion of my purchesed smoke, like some Purple Skunk and 2 grams of bubble hash..Delicious.
