i uploaded this for some friends of mine. This band rules, heres they's only albums: Yeasayer - All Hour Cymbals
I really find it heard to describe their music, other than fucking aweseome.... watch this video of them. after a concert in paris, they go and ride the metro, and sing a song on the way there, and a song on the subway, all A-Capella, except for one of the 4 in the band using a spoon, taping on whatever's in front of time.

![]() Talkdemonic - Eyes at Half Mast they are self described as Foltronic Hop. Very beautiful, creative and densely layered instrumental music, made by a guy and a girl from Portland. Awesome stuff.

HOLY SHIT YES GOD FUCKING ALMIGHTY
TV on the Radio - Dear Science (2008) edit:::: DrownedInSound: "There’s no shortage of intricate, atonal layers, shimmering vocals and sonic explosions of the thrillingly unexpected on TV On The Radio’s third album, Dear Science. But when DiS headed out to the 4AD offices for a too-brief first listen, we were genuinely surprised by what we heard. The effects – drums, strings, synth (a lot of synth) – are shinier than ever, against a sinister backdrop of feedback and fuzz. The vocals are alternately sexier and angrier. And the beats are unrepentantly funky. It’s like the boys have gathered the glammest riffs of three-decades-ago Bowie and Prince and fed them through some mysterious, apocalyptic sound machine – also known as the virtuoso production factory of David Andrew Sitek. All hail their dark vision of the future."

![]() i heard of koushik before on various singles by stones throw artists. ive always liked his ambient-sounding lyrics. this is the canadian artists second solo album on stones throw, third album altogether, and i would give it a solid C+. a little of this dude goes a long way. this album is very uplifting, almost annoyingly so. still, its not too bad. favorite song is "be with", but that same song was his best song on his second album, so.... and although this album is labeled under "hip-hop", i think its more of an atmospheric r&b album, composed of hip-hop beats, which are composed of samples and live instruments. some songs seems like they could fit right in with the "flower power" songs of the sixties. a couple other good songs are "coolin'" and "welcome" although welcome is an instrumental. imho, not a high replay album unless you are really happy, and youre feeling the music. alot. but still, a decent second effort from stones throw records. p.s.~ this album isnt officially released until sept. 30th, 2008. this is a promo copy.
