since i only listen to good music ill enlighten you guys, although I've heard joe pass, pat methany and my friend told me about the old crow medicine show
mahavishnu orchestra obliterates any preconceptions you people might have as music, and i'm pretty sure alot of people haven't heard of them (unless theyre hip) sun ra and pharoah sanders

Grieves, BJM fucking rocks. Do you listen to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at all? And i know they are sort of well known, but listening to more of the dandy warhols is never a bad thing.
I'm not sure if many people know them, but Dr. Dog is a definitely a band worth listening to. Same goes for Mogwai and The Out Crowd. Those are off the top of my head, but shit i am way too drunk to list the others. |
