im p sure shoegaze and idm are two different subgenres, and I suspect that intelligent dance music is a term both coined and applied by people other than the artists it is meant to represent.
Thanks and yeah I really thought they were two different styles but they seemed to be grouped together on a lot of sites I go to...I think of this as shoegazer/elektropop...fuck I don't know, I hate the way we've subgenre'd the shit out of music. It's electronica and its awesome.
