did u know that in the early 90s... big l, cam'ron, mase & mcgruff had a rap group togeather called children of the corn?? they never released and album but did a bunch of mix tapes & in 2003 there was an official album released... i personally was shocked that I never knew about this.. look it up its worth it

cam ron sucks and has always sucked, I was seriously choked when I found out dude rapped with big L. Dipset is honestly one of the worst groups I think I have ever heard. Ma$e unfortunately sucks dick. Herb Mcgruff however, is iller than fuck.

souljah boy is modern day pop-rap.... now i mostly listen to the old shit too and east coast rap might have to throw out some radio jams and club bangers in their CD's, but the ones with heart still fucking keep it hardcore as fuck especially on the mix tapes... u should stop listening to hot97 and try buying some CD's in your local ghetto's barber shop, jackass

First of all, the idea that someone championing dipset as if they are some sort of savior is going to even attempt to tell me about rap is hysterical. Second it's clear that there is a difference between souljah boy and dipset, but to act like dipset is KRS compared to souljah boy is laughable. I don't listen to rap radio at all, nor do I need to buy mixtapes in a ghetto barber shop, the less shitty mixtapes in my life the better. I'm sure it makes you feel just a little bit cooler hearing some two bit has been and his crew of never was' spitting halfassed rhymes about how much blow they sell and hackneyed lines about the bullets they spray, but the fact is until they do something original they'll always be mediocre at best. I'm not saying that they are the worst out, but there are a dozen current groups doing the same shtick way better and certainly a billion others that preceded them and did a much better job the first time around.
