I am a professional violinist based in Cincinnati; I play in the Dayton Philharmonic, West Virginia Symphony and other groups, in addition to weddings etc.
The other day I blazed up for the first time in a couple weeks and did something I've been meaning to do for years: "turn off my mind, relax and float down stream" with improvisation.
I just turned off my brain, simply played, with no idea what would come out of my instrument. Here is the result (more, and better, ones to come):

As far as a composed tune, here is a short little circular (i.e. like a vg tune) melody I composed a few years ago (but only just now video taped) when I had a crush on someone.
My structural "model" I used to compose this tune, in terms of mood, length, speed, etc.: a town/village theme from any of the old school Final Fantasy games.
