growing in parents house - Page 2

The concept is simple.Natural sunlight starts the flowering process around mid to late august.That's when the 2nd crop blooms naturally.Around mid june you put the bucketed plants away in the dark shed for 12 hours a day.Those first crop plants are ready for harvest about mid august.Then mother nature will bloom the second crop naturally and it will be ready mid to end of October.

just grow weed..... it's just a plant...... if your having trouble with that concept It's Just a Plant that's a book that can help u out.... don't grow in ur parents house , grow outside, grow in your balcony do it all...... and keep the pigs away ....

I must admit that I was considering growing in a cupboard in my folks house as I am stuck here until early next year.
I am not actually gonna do it now that I have given it some thought and have came to the conclusion that it is selfish, my folks shouldn't be put at risk just cos I'm currently in a situation where I can't afford to keep buying it and the weather is way too cold to grow outside till next April at least (plus I live in a city so outside grow space isn't exactly easy to come by). Am just gonna have to stop smoking till I move out.

As for growing on rented property, I feel as long as proper thought/research goes into what you're doing, and you don't go overboard and start converting rooms into full blown jungles, then it shouldn't be a problem. Obviously safety is paramount regardless of where you grow, you don't want to burn your own house down as much as you don't want to burn down a rented house and I would never grow indoors without the proper equipment and knowledge of how to do it safely (which is why I find this and other sites invaluable)
Putting a lock on the door to the room your setup is in, as someone mentioned earlier, is a surefire way of stopping dodgy landlords finding your shit. I personally would instantly move out of the property if I even thought my landlord had been in without my consent, as I value my privacy even if theres nothing to hide.

Anyways, I can't wait to move out of here, even if living back at home is cheap. I needs ma independance back more than I needs ma weed!

Rental houses are fine if everyone living there is in on the secret. Apartments and Condo's are bad for the same fire and safety reasons to others. Roasting up some old folks and a few children because of faulty wiring or electrical failure in your system is not going to endear the Pot smokers to anyone. The battle is hard enough as is, without giving the administration more ammo for their fight on benign drugs.

unless, your growing a 6 inch plant in a computer tower, your parents will find it, if they dont they really dont care about you :P jk jk. my parents found out 10 mins after i recieved my mother plant, and said nothing of it, witch is chill, and now im going for 4 plants, and they dont care, theyre actually intrested :P.

Yes, it's wrong to USE your parents in this way. Folks often forfeit their homes because their kid's actions.

The flip side of this is, how is it that they don’t know?

If my kids were growing weed in their closet: I’d know about it.

..Yeah it could happen. It happened in my Moms house. whenever my brothers cleaned their weed, they'd drop the seeds into her plants inthe livig room. She had something like a jungle growing , so as the plants grew she just assumed they were , you know, part of the greenage. Little did she know! My brothers would harvest regularly. She did get upset when they did that , but they finally told her what was what. She laughede about it. We all did. Wow, talk about a "Kodak" moment..LOL!
