1X60 liter compressed block of coco-peat, (expands with water, comes pre-fertilized),
15 liters of perlite 5 liters of clay beads in the bottom of the containers to allow for better drainage. $10 + $5 + $5 = $20 total I also use a coco-peat specific nutrient for when the fert runs out, (this can cost as little as $20 for a no-frills brand, or as much as $30 (per 2 liters of undiluted) for a brand name like Canna.

2 parts foxfarm ocean forest
2 parts perlite 1 part earthworm castings worms this mix of course depends on full strength flowering nutes during 12/12, but doesn't require much in the way of veg feed unless you're growing monsters. it is also a fairly airy mixture, so will benefit most from daily light watering in most container sizes. or you can always just go with water and air ![]() ![]()

This isn't as crazy and homemade as the rest of yours but heres go.
1 part miracle all purpose potting soil 2 parts regular backyard soil It is very simple and uses miracle which is something most people hate. However for me at least it grew very nice vigorous plants so far. |

I'd get the bone/blood meal combo. Use 5 cups for the amount of soil you indicated. The horticultural lime..........use 1 cup. |
