Grow Suggestions-stealth grow/bloom/clippings
This is a first for me to post on pretty much any forum. So if I need to do something different or maybe this doesn't belong here. Please advise.
I can expand and work with other plans and ideas, this is what I came up with so far. Now I do have a 1000watt HPS in a cantena I could use for veg. Thats expensive and from what I been hearing, QP+ can be obtained from little light 150 to 250W HPS in small areas which sounds good to me. I have a small area in a cupboard which is at the bottom of a bookshelf. The area is 3feet wide, 11" deep and just about 2 feet tall. It's driving me nuts to think of how I can use this space, either as a mother plant area, which I would like to host 4 to 6 mothers. Or maybe as a clipping area, but than I thought, why for clippings's when I plan to only bloom about 4 to 6 plants max. I could put those under a good desk lamp with a good bulb with a dome? Light wise, I have a 2 foot double bulb floro. I dont know, I'm confused. I thought this area would be usefull as it's pretty stealth as it is. Thanks folks Copelan |

I like the idea of using the 1000 HPS. If you can pick up some fluorescent lights, they'd be my first choice for clones. Then again clones can be done under a 1000 HPS but you must have them way out of the direct light. Way off to the side and they'll root, no problem. Then one must consider ventilation, both in and out. They need fresh outside air and in turn the air in the room needs to be exhausted and probably at one pont one might have to buy a carbon filter or say a uvonaire. We tend to become accustomed to the smell and don't notice it...........but others might. That goes for the outside vent as well as in the room. Something to think about.........get back to us on which route you decide and we'll go from there.

The situation so far is, I've for a couple mothers plants. The area I use to grow is not %100 yet, but I do have an area in a box which is about 2feet wide, 1 1/2 deep, and 2 feet tall. with 2 2 foot florescent double bulb in each, one on top, and one on the side.
The issue so far. I notices that the leaves are decaying. I took them out and there ouside for now, if I trim off the bad leaves, it revives itself. It wont grow properly doing that all the time. I was doing that to keep them alive. Is there something I can put in it to prevent bugs, or tiny fruit flies. I dont know what's eating them. I think its fruit flies. Than I can put a couple clippings in it to see how it goes and to determine if what I got was females before the summer is up. Otherwise. My 1000w is in a different room, which I havn't gotten to using yet. I have an intake fan in the bottom corner, but not an output fan on top. The strain I have if it's female will stink. So I read I can make my own scrubber for cheap. than I wont have to exhaust the air outside, its in a basement so it's already cool there. I figure the scrubber will kill the stink, and when the air exhausts into the basement it wont smell. Any insight is appreciated. Regards: Copelan |

I'll get a few winks......
![]() ![]() ![]() And tomorrow I'll help you in any way I can. In the meanwhile check with some Hydro stores to see if they have any bare bones ballasts or a used one! Someone I know picked up one for 100 CAN. His light was new and it was 100 also. Lemmy sleep on it and we'll see if there's some alternatives that will suit your needs. ![]() |
