How much light is too much light??
I know thats its okay to have a little light during the dark period (moon light). What are some signs to look for that would tell me there is too much light during the dark cycle? Is there any rule of thumb to go by?

Having too much light leaking in during the dark part of the cycle may well result in hermaphrodism. I`m not sure if you can test for this easily but if you can see light outside (I`m assuming you`ve got some sort of cabinet) when your lights are on then light will probably get in through the same places.
The more light tight your grow space the better. It`s worth putting some effort into sorting this- it`s really annoying if your ladies start growing balls.

Its ok for them to get some light during vegetative growth at night time(you can actually give them 24 hours of light). But when you are flowering, its best to keep them in total darkness for 12 hours a day!
