In my book, seedlings get 24 hours light. Vegetation gets 24 hours light. Bloom gets 12 hours of light and sometimes at the end I cut the light down to 10 hours of light.
Is that the kinda info you are looking for?? |

I use 18 hours of light for both seedling and vegetative growth. For flowering, I give them 24 hours of total darkness for the first day, and then 12/12 hours for the rest.
Also, has nothing to do with your question, but i don't water the plants 2 days before harvest. It speeds up the drying time by a day or two. |

24 straight light for veg is stressful imho not to mentions i agree with stoneric. if there is a difference i have'nt found it. i use 20 on 4 off. when i switch to flower i leave it dark for 24 hours and when i swtich the light on i give it a double strength dose of nutes.
just remember no mater what veg style you pick that the flowering schedule is the only thing every one agrees on.
