What should I use for the light cycel?

Heres the description of the seeds:

"With Ice we have successfully attempted to bring quality and quantity together. Ice has ancestors of Afghani, a very special Skunk, Northern Light, and Shiva. An intense selection process of thousands of plants was used in finding this special mix. Ice flowers are richly covered in trychomes and have a dense consistency. Buds form along main branches and there is a high flower to leaf ratio. Fastastic for hydro and soil applications. The stone is heavy and the aroma is almost like fuel. Ice is a winner of the 1998 Cannabis Cup."

What should my light cycle be?? Also, is there anyway to grow other crops in the same indoor system on the same light cycle?? Such as lettuce or tomatoes??

Keeps lights on 18-24 hours per day in Vegetative growth stage(leaves), and 12on 12 off during flowering(Buds).Keep lights as close to the plant as possible without the heat burning the leaves or the top. Read up on the word "Lumens", which explains light energy and will give you an idea how useful or powerful your light source is. For example,1000w bulb pushes useful energy about 3 feet. A 4 foot floro pushes useful energy 4-6 inches.

thanks for the info.. So I guess the lighting is the same throughout different strands. I am using a 400w hortilux sp* bulb in a grow cabinet. Maybe set it at 2 feet from the plants??

How about 1 foot away so the light energy reaches a foot down the plant so the lower branches grow also. Keep a fan on the plant to reduce heat on the leaf tops and you may be able to move it closer.
