Help with strains.

Hello I'm new to growing and to this forum, anyways my question is. What would be a good strain to grow outside in a hot weather (71° F high), that doesn't get really tall? (it need it to be under 4 feet)

thanks, yeah I've been doing that, but man it costs 35€ for five seeds, I hope they're easy to grow since I've never grown cannabis before, I've thought about growing some seeds I have but i got them from some of the worst weed out there, I live in mexico city so it's pretty tough to come across some good stuff.

I hear you.............I've seen the green in Mexico and I was NOT impressed!
Am I correct when I say that there's 12 hours of daylight all the time? If so, that explains the fields I saw...........all 'short and stout'.

well the climate is all different depending on the part of the country you're at, here in Mexico city it's like 12/12 but it rains just about every day so it's more like 10/14 I've been thinking about setting up a hydro (I have an awesome basement i could use for that purpose but i gotta save up for the lights and stuff) but since I'm only planing to grow for my own use I'm a little hesitant. Also i think the reason why Mexican weed sucks is mostly genetics but i might be wrong.

I'd pass on Lowryder if I were you. I've grown it just for fun and it's not potent at all. I'd go with something like Black Domina or Maple Leaf Indica. Both are from Sensi Seeds and both are fast flowering indicas that'll stay short. Also, MLI is very affordable at $74 (usd). If you need something that grows extremely short look into Dreamweaver from Dutch Passion.

A great place to get seeds from is Dr. Chronic.

but don't be dissin the Mexican genes. The genes are good, the growers are not.

other way around...

equatorial for sativas

it's where you can grow the long flowering sativas, but they surely won't stay short.

So if I grow some from the Mexican seeds I got and i do everything the way it's supposed to, should i be getting some pretty good weed? that might save me some money... well idk they might get too tall haha I'm gonna take a look at the strains you named,

It`s worth spending a little on a decent strain unless you`re on a zero budget, the returns are worth it, you can clone 1 seed indefinitely. KC brains sell well good strains for £10 Sterling for 10 seeds. Having said that if you`re growing guerilla you`ve got little to lose.
If you`re paying for your set up you should`t mind spending a little to get some decent genetics.

For a first time and for more indica srains try White Widow(a must) Northern Lights(I know them, beauty!) Aurora Indica(one of the most powerfull plants I have ever tried),Bubblelicious orBubblegum(strong and sweet or just say strongly sweet?),and of course Euforia.
All of them are mostly Indica(not so tall) bu very very potent.

I agree with the idea of a quality indica, lowryder isn't worth bothering, unless you are specifically looking for one foot high plants.
Some indica's dont work so well outdoors, so avoid any indoor only types.
Northern Lights for a first timer.
