here's the strawberry cough. I saved her from some root rot. I noticed some nice new ones on the bottom though so hopefully I got rid of it before I even transplanted. It's a shitty ass transplant but it was the only pot we had that would make any difference at all.
As long as she doesn't get any worse she will still put out. ![]() ..and the LST(white russain) is doing great as usual. |

However, the Chocolate Chunk is still doing very well. I hope these colas will just be singly huge nuggets.

Ok so I guess my Dad doesn't want me growing in the basement just because that's his hobby space too and he has his friends coming in and out of the basement every once and awhile and he said some of them don't even drink coffee because of the caffeine...
So here's the deal, I'm going to continue using my indoor cabinet that's currently vacant. I'm going to make the switch to HYDRO!!! However I'm only going to be using a 150w HPS and CFLS to veg... This picture pretty much explains it all. All I need to start growing now is the light, two 3" net pots, and some hydroton what ever clay balls. |

hmmm, I got a new idea.
I could actually cut out a hole in the top of the cabinet to put the light on the top exterior... hmm.. just an idea, I'll have to wait and see the actual size of the light inside it. |

Does any one have any input on bubbleponics? Because that's what I'm doing. Hopefully I'll have it up and running tomorrow but I won't have any seedlings/clones for at least another month.

alright, the cab is officially set up. I got two seeds in rock wool you can barely see stick out of the net pots.
I will put the hydroton in tomorrow and then we will officially be open for business! I've got the frame up for the SCROG, then once they get to an appropriate size I will put in some chicken wire for the screen and then I'll put the HPS in for flowering. Stay tuned! ![]() edit: I guess I did get my Power Plant seed from my friend and it's one of the two that's in the rockwool so we'll find out eventually!

nice spanky
you're full of surprises bubbleponics - looks like a ready made top feeding dwc do you know if the parts are standard sizes, of would you need to buy repairs/spares etc from them? i think it looks fine, but you could do it yourself as probably get some higher quality gear for the same $'s, maybe a better pump, ppm meter, or you could just get it. edit - looks like you already got the bubble thing, cool.

thanks man.
I use this for euthanizing mice but I'm going to mess with it a little bit during veging. ![]() Oh and we got a seedling! ![]() I decided to use a 50/50 mixture of perlite and vermiculite.

god damn i love the size of this cabinet...
the rack is just resting on the right angles for the would be shelf. I can move it or raise it depending on how fast the plants grow. Then since I'll bet having the HPS on the outside/top of the cabinet it will be easier to manage heat and I will be able to get more nuggets. ![]() The HPS will be here next week.

yellowing looks to only be on the large fans
that's normal as you move through flower nitrogen is being used up, and energy is being diverted to the bud sites

Hehe well done on the hydro initiative. You should get it dialled in pretty soon, you strike me as a born tinkerer.
Edit- a pH and EC meter will make things easier. I concur with Cerebro about the yellowing of some lower fans being normal. I think sometimes a minor nute issue when the plant is smaller can carry over until later resulting in the loss of some leaves which have been on the plant the longest. But after all you don`t want to feed them nitrogen right into flower or they may just tend to keep vegging and the nitrogen ferts will affect the smoke. Something has to go yellow first. Always was impressed how Jenna and Dan keep them looking so perfect until late flower.
