AHHH SPIDERS HELP PLZ!!! crappy pics
lol so everything was going good, getting ready to start flowerin in the next couple days, then this happened... FUCKING SPIDERS
now im scared as hell that they're spider mites, cause i really dont feel like dealing with that, but after some reading i really dont think they are, they are clearish white and they are small, but not super small like i would suspect mites to be... they are about the size of a really small nail head or something, mabey smaller idk. they are also making some webs on the plants, and seem to be hanging in the webs, and on top of the leaves/plant unlike mites who seem to like the bottom side of leaves. also they are quite active. ALSO im sure its probally from me using some dirt from outside cause i was low on cash and dirt for the recent repot. best pics i can provide ![]() its the little white dot on the leave up front lol.. kinda shows size idk ![]() ![]() not too much help with the pics i know... Looks to me like they are little baby regular harmless spiders but idk... either way im tryin to kill all those fucks tomorrow cause spiders are creepy identification/removal help? EDIT: Also yesterday, there was nothing...today theres this

Sounds like crab spiders depending on how they hold their legs. Harmless to you and the plants. They are very commonly found on flowers and vegetables. Good luck, just use a cotton swab or something.

Looks like spidermites to me. (same as the pic below)
Dilute soap solution applied to the plant especially to the underside of the leaves. Ladybirds eat them. Nematode worms (available from hydro shop) kill the eggs I think. You can get smoke bombs to kill them, but it`s tricky to get rid of all the eggs as well so you might have to repeat what ever method you use. They probably got in on your clothes rather than in soil. They like hot dry conditions.

I've dealt with spider mites before but I've never had a web that big nor were the mites that big... I actually think you have normal spiders which is a lot easier to deal with than mites... You should try and get magnifying glass and look up close at it then compare it to pics on the Internet... Also I didn't see any stippling from mites sucking the life giving sap from the leaves... It would look like yellow spots all over leaves
spiders actually eat mites and other bugs so beside the web they are helpful either way wash the plants and get all the web and spiders off... I use sm90 as a deterent and haven't seen them since |

Best have a peek with a magnifying glass or something to be sure like sirsmokalot989 said.
You can get a 30x magnifier for like $10 or something, they`re handy for ogling trichomes as well. If they are regular spiders I would leave them alone as they will prey on pestiferous bugs.

if it is spidermites , flip the leaves and you will see alot of white egg sacks , if you figure you have them , get einstein oil , this is organic not like useing pokon , what it does is coats the egg sacks and spider mites and does a light solidifying so the eggs cant hatch and young spidermites cant molt so they die off and can never reach the age to lay more eggs , and unlike pokon you can spray it on dureing the light on cycle and not get any burning of your leaves ....

I hate spiders... I'm an arachniphobiac and they freak me the f out... I'd never let them live in my house but when I see a spider in my outdoor garden I protect it as they do eat most other bugs that mess with your garden and their mess is not bad and they don't hurt the plant
kinda like bodyguards |
