Anyone wanna help me with my next setup?
Well seeing as my plant is just a test run, and while I would be really happy to get some ok bud from her unknown origins, I want to start setting up my first hydro grow, I want a 400w HPS and a tent, but I'm open to suggestions on the rest.
This is gonna be for 2 plants. |

^^ agreed I think it's alot more difficult untill you get the hang of it
I did a cheap drip feed years ago then went to soil and loved it... I just bought a flood and drain table and screws and everything for 50 bucks off of a friend so I think I'm going to run it for my next crop I just need to buy a pump in my personal opinion if your growing personal bud just go with soil as it will taste better than hydro... I had an og grower friend of a friend try and explain why and how but honestly I was to high to understand him I had a 39x39x79 inch tent that I got from high tech garden supply dot com and it did me wonders!!! I spent I think 200 on it and put a 600 and a can fan because heat was definetly a problem but the ability to clean out the tent and keep it clean in my room was nice good luck deciding IMO again it pays off to spend a bit more for the quality items cause they last |

I'm definitely getting a tent, I think I might just stay with soil since I only want 2-3 plants for my own personal stash. What kind of intake and exhaust would be good for a tent about the size of yours? Smell isn't a big concern but I don't want my whole house reeking of bud.

I used just one 6"can fan 448 cfm worked well though I wish I'd have put one up for intake... I know that those fans are expensive but IMO well worth it... Go onto craigslist also under the farm and garden section and see what people are selling near you
used is just as good if you get it cheap I had some heat issues but I had a strain that could handle it stick with soil IMO as it's easier and way more flavorful... Hydro usually is for commercial growers that don't have time to water each plant in soil you can move the plants around and have a lot more leeway in way of human error... Hydro needs very precise ph levels and exact nutrient levels |
