and i think you missed my point about "mission accomplished." we are seeing significant improvement in OUR agenda for the nation of iraq, not improvements in the actual situation iraq faces. what of the iraqis' agenda? these benchmarks and all evidence for their completion create an arbitrary sense of success which serves only to lend credibility to our own intentions.
