Obama's main demographic is affluent white ppl. Not surprising.

Wrong. No one unworthy of wealth. You just need to earn it. You seem hung up on these minimum wage jobs...jobs that are generally used by highschool students to suppliment their income, not make a career out of.

You are intent on lowering our standards to the least common denominator. Thats disastrous.

Proof that you are living in a fantasy world. "Celebrities" show what is wrong with society and contribute to the acceptance of those wrongs. Most good movies aren't made in Hollywood and aren't stared in by "celebrities" but rather nobodies. Celebrities contribute to consumption through marketing everything there is to market. Think if Meheh or You were pimping CK in the magazines that anyone would buy it? Simply put celebrities do society a disservice while those in the flow chain of the food industry provide a service. You are the type of person who deserves to get his burgers spit on as you probably stick your nose up at the person making it.

I know someone addressed this, but, 95 mph curveballs? And lets say someone could actually throw a 95 mph curveball and someone could actually hit a 95 mph curveball, would it be worth 130 years of bagging groceries? And this is paid to the ones who can't throw or hit a 95 mph curveballs. A-Rod makes as much in 2 or 3 weeks.

Small business owners are the lifeblood of this country. It is remarkably easy for a small business to have revenues that catapult them into the highest tax brackets of this country. They will be murdered by Obama's tax plan.

The problem with half of you is that you are so caught up in class warfare. I see a shit load of animosity and apathy for people who work hard and get squeezed by oppressive taxation. All you do is look at the super-wealthy and cite examples of old family money while completely ignoring the people that get hit the hardest. You cling to the notion that the rich dont in fact pay high taxes. If you would take even the slightest amount of time to look at the situation in detail you would see the complexity of the issue. For one, people with huge fortunes in the bank and minimal income from working a salaried job dont pay income taxes because THEY DONT HAVE ANY INCOME. They pay capital gains and a myriad of other taxes on their aquired wealth. People like Warren Buffet, who make their money in Private Equity, are exempt from income taxes because of the nature of their business. Thats why people like Warren Buffet claim to only pay 15%. There are not many people this effects as the Private Equity field is extremely small. The people you so desperately want to punish, the super rich, are not even the ones these taxes will effect. The only thing Obama's tax plan will accomplish is to further bleed American small business to death and place a ridiculous burden on people who work their asses off for what they have.

Hell, I believe even France recently capped their tax rate near 50%. Taking half of a mans take home pay is plenty.

poor little rich man has to contribute to the coffers so those without the opportunities given to you on a silver platter can get some infrastructure and basic health care, these people who work just as hard in their lower paid jobs cant afford to pay tax rates as high as these poor hard done by working-wealthy class of people, if they did they would starve

quit bitching about your leader's, and I do mean YOUR leader's financial commitment to the war you wont go and fight in, and be happy to be able to contribute to a war you've given unqualified support for, in a vocal sense I mean

(unless otherwise stated I am using the term "your" in a generic sense, not directing at you until the end bit where I specify I am)

Then until someone runs on the platform of punishing the people I so desperately want to punish I will have to be content to know Obamas tax plan is at least pissing you off. And until you realize that people that make a lot less then you also work their asses off and get squeezed in so many other ways including the tax burden, I will again be content to know that you think your tax bracket is getting fucked.

Would you agree such a motivation is punative, petty, and spiteful?

and is one yahookans motivations for enjoying your displeasure relevant to the topic?

Please don't derail the conversation dubstyle311, I know he stated he doesn't like you in a round about sort of way, but then, neither do I.

Schtik with the conversation.

Very much so. I figured it was appropriate since those are your attributes.

The problem with the taxation in this country is the lower class workers and small business owners pay close to the same percent of the taxes..There need to be more taxes to those who can afford it instead of collecting taxes on those who can not get ahead in life because they pay out to much of their money in taxes..

There should be a tax cap at some point. Although those who spend millions on a boat, cars, houses, and etc, shouldn't be able to have all the money they will ever spend as well as all their family members below them, when there are people for reasons out of their control, that can never even own a house that is acceptable by human services..

Just an example..

I own my own company. but because I am not willing to cheat, steal, or boot out some one else, I can't make enough money to get into the richer class..
I work my ass off more hours than most of the people with the big companies and yet they get materials cheaper as well as taxes.. This keeps me in the bottom of the barrel instead of being able to grow into the upper class..

Only a couple of ways to get on top in this world... Have the ability to start close to there, or screw the ones underneath you to get on top...

I should be able to have tax breaks/cuts to allow me to oppertunity to grow...

I think it is fair to let everyone live comfortably and have the excessively rich just be rich.
