The first black president?

In 2001 former President Bill Clinton was honored as the nation's first black president at the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Awards Dinner.

Is this of significance? If so, what does it mean?

If Barack Obama wins the presidency, will he be considered the nation's first or second black president?

Will he be titled the nations first "African American President"?

Are whites who immigrate to the United States from Africa and become US citizens considered African American? Obviously they're not black.

Does anyone know what the legal definitions of "black" and "African American" are? Do they apply to these titles? Do they matter?

i think it's significant that he's mixed. it's at least significant that this will be the first president that isn't 110% white.

Obama sounds a bit like the forked tongued politician whispering sweet nothings in your ear to me. I dont know if hes saying what he thinks he needs to, but chances are hes a handpicked insider like colon thomas powell. we can wait and see what happens. the guy may turn out to be more or less decent, but we can never trust a politician by nature.

let me translate a few of his words.

"good jobs for americans": this entails the people working for their industrial corporate masters for 40+ hour weeks. it never considers the possibility for agricultural lifestyles that are environmentally advanced and/or people working for themselves instead of under the oppression of economic overlords. it entails a systematic subjugation that controls the destiny and lives of the people and the planet...and in a very selfish and warped way at that.

"improving/investing in education": well since we know that public forced mandatory schools are virtually corporate industrial daycare/mind control prisons for children where children are subjected to every form of trauma, abuse, & neglect, including hunger, impersonal treatment, being insulted and degraded, and tormented by other students, and mix with the worst elements in the society....im not sure where he is going with this.

i mean maybe he still somehow thinks that these institutions are designed to take children from mommy at age 5 and enlighten them for 6-7 hours a day instead of condition them for systematic economic subjugation and to be good corporate worker 9-5 fodder. frankly people can do a much better job teaching their own kids, and while some advanced level schools are needed, im not quite sure where he is going with this whole schools and education thing. seems like the classic corporate push to me. is he fronting or truly ignorant? we have yet to see.

"goodhealth care for americans" : well in the past we have seen politicians and so-called government willing only to pass laws that require you to get healthcare--or have it made available to you for fees-through your employer if you are somewhere around full time. so you see....get a corporate job, serve the dominant network of $monopoly on our degrading and excessive terms, and then you can get some decent healthcare. i dont really hear anything different from this guy. i have never once heard him promise socialized healthcare. free healthacre for everyone....i dont listen to much of this stuff, so correct me if im wrong.

its not that im against obama, i just dont think any of this election puppet show is or ever was real, you see. its all a staged play and they try to swing the drama and keep you caught up. behind these puppets are the same evil masters, i suspect. they bring on a black face like condol, colon, or obama and put on a show. but it sounds like the guy is reading lines to me, not speaking. sounds like flowery lies mixed in with a lot of dangerous and disturbing sentiments that im not sure if theyre intended to placate to pander or what.
