I want weed decriminalised. I'll vote for a candidate who atleast has common sense in letting sick and fragile people use marijuana even if not able to fully decriminalise it. The fuck, what can be worst.

Medical marijuana is needed by seriously ill patients

Mccain opposes medical mj
John McCain on Medical Marijuana and Drug Policy

Also with some opposing viewpoints between obama and mccain, if Mccain wins; he's gonna put even more in war against mj.

Also somebody said he dosen't wanna join army in case of war, thats right but there is more chance you will be charged with posession of marijuana than going to war if mccain wins.

LOL...

You recognize, identify, and hold me to the literal and humorous nature of my poorly chosen words. I truly appreciate that.

"And then suddenly... nothing happened."
-Douglas Adams.

I guess the question is,how long into an Obama presidency will it take for something bad happening to not be blamed on Bush? I'm thinking historically how this stuff usually plays out? a lot of 9/11 got blamed on Clinton who blamed its origins in the Bush/Reagan years who blamed its roots on the Carter administration.

"When they forced Khruschev out, he sat down and wrote two letters to his successor. He said - "When you get yourself into a situation you can't get out of, open the first letter, and you'll be safe. When you get yourself into another situation you can't get out of, open the second letter". Soon enough, he gets into a tight situation, and he opens the first letter. It says - "Blame it all on me". So he blames it all on the old guy, and it worked like a charm. When he got himself into a second situation, he opened the second letter. It said - "Sit down, and write two letters"."

A fine, maybe even prison time is a lot better than probable death.

^You do realise that amound of hate, Mccain has for MJ, you are more likely to go to Prison rather than fined if he gets into office. Also once you get charged, military probably won't take you but then again, the amount of soldiers dying in iraq has forced the military to bend some rules ie look past the previous mj use. lol

But I ofcourse agree with your overall viewpoint. Its just I can't really comprehend that any person with any amount of interest in decriminalisation of Marijuana (even for medical) would wanna vote for Mccain.

by whom? I only blame the Bush administration for it because they actively chose to ignore intelligence. Before that came to light, I didn't blame anyone in particular.

I wouldn't blame Obama if something happened, unless it can be shown that he fucked up like Bush and Co. did.

Exactly. I mean sure, Mary Jane isn't the biggest issue or anything, but sometimes it's the smaller things that count. Even though Obama doesn't want full legalization, he at least wants people who are sick to have access to it. I think that shows more of what he thinks about medical care, because I doubt he'd do it just because he likes (or liked) pot. It shows he at least cares about people's wellbeing and they get treated properly.

Remember when Bush said he was opposed to nation building? That's what I think of when we hear Obama say he'd stop the DEA raids on medical marijuana patients. Empty fucking promises, lip-service to appeal to a political demographic. Doesn't mean a fucking thing. We know he's a drug warrior, already allied with the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. The Democrats have a long history of lying about progressive drug policy change. He won't change a motherfucking thing.
